Well, this is a hard one since I have a few favorite female artists. I am going to try and I apologize to all the female artist that didn't make the cut....maybe next time.
I will start with my absolute favorite female vocalist from my youth. Vocalist with a golden voice and beauty inside and out. Vocalist that despite her personal tragedy overcame obstacles and continued spreading love with her music.
May I introduce to you......my Slovak favorite female vocalist .....Marika Gombitova.
My second choice is must be .....Cyndi Lauper with Girl's Just Wanna Have Fun.......

Cyndi Lauper is my very favorite female vocalist!! I would have posted her on my MMMM if I hadn't screwed up by thinking this week was a freebie.
I love that Cyndi Lauper song. I always think of the movie with the same title that starred Sarah Jessica Parker back before she was famous whenever I hear it.
When I think of Cyndi Lauper and Girls just wanna have fun, I think of The Goonies :)
