Pink Ruffled Jammies Bring Out The Fighting Words

Let me set the mood for you....

It's Monday night....queen is still in her feeling sorry for herself funk. She's channeling Carrie Bradshaw wearing pretty pink pyjama bottoms with white ruffles (Original Sex and The City apparel her BFF bought her).

Little Peanut enters.....

LP: "Mommy, I am ready....come on....I'll be late for hockey....I'm goalie tonight.....come on"

Queen: "Give me a second. I just need to put on some other pants."

LP:" Why you look just fine and so pretty?"

Queen: " I am wearing my pink jammies!"

LP: "So????? They look pretty and you like pink."

Queen: " You wouldn't mind if the boys in the dressing room would tease you about your crazy mama wearing pink jammies to the ice rink?"

LP:" No, why would I? I will introduce them to my buddies Righty and Lefty. They would think they are in the space that's how many stars they would see. And if that's not enough I would kick their ass so hard they would forget their name." .....few seconds pause...."what were we talking about, again?"

Queen: (speechless and bit frighten) "Me wearing pink jammies to the hockey arena ."

LP: "Oh, that....you'll be fine...let's go"

....and that's why I love him so minus the violence and the usage of the word ass , but frankly I am little bit scared right now. I don't want to be introduced to Righty and Lefty.

For those of you who want to know I did change my pants.

BTW, he is my sweet and none violent child. I have no clue where that came from. Nobody better mess with his mother.

After hockey I made him Heart Shaped Brownies....better keep him on my good side. If you want to make these cute heart shaped brownies I posted step by step on Daily Organized Chaos.

I can see why you posted this for wordless Wednesday. Ass would leave me speechless, too.

Mmm...brownies.

Love that he doesn't mind if you wear your jammies in public!

Yay! A kid who doesn't crumble to what others think and who would stand up for his mama! I'm melting :)

That's so funny! What a nice son to stick up for his mom with a threat from righty and lefty. Ha!!

Nice pic oh him. It's good that he doesn't care of other peoples' negative thoughts.
Those brownies look very good too:)

Now that's a kid with confidence! He deserves those brownies for sticking up (in advance!) for his mama.
