...then I read it and decided to delete it.
Nobody needs to know or be bored with details and reasons of my personal crisis.....trust me. You don't!
Long story short....I am back.
I needed to take some time to get my priorities in order and realize that I am not a Super Human.
I am "sort of" single mom (hubs is home 6 days a month) trying to survive in this jungle I call my life trying hard not to blow up like a volcano.
During my week of sorting out my priorities I watched "Up In The Air" with George Clooney.
Perfect timing, right? I know.
His backpack analogy was spot on and I started thinking about what's in my proverbial backpack.
I couldn't believe how much stuff I try to stuff into that backpack every single day. No wonder some days I can't even lift it up never mind walking with it.
I don't want to have an empty backpack like George Clooney's character. The life would not be worth living, but I think that I need to remove certain items so I can walk with ease.
I need to concentrate on removing items that are weighing me down hence not allowing me to lead the life I deserve.
With that said, go rent the movie and let's move on.
While cleaning my proverbial backpack I threw myself into physical labor combined with creativity.
Nothing rejuvenates me and gets me pumped up then seeing things happening around me.
First I decided it was time to make myself a garden and a little spot where I can sit and enjoy the beauty of my surroundings.
I started with this
and I turned it into this
Then I decided that it was time to mud and paint my living room.
I know it's not finished yet, but we are moving forward and I will be able to remove those items out of my backpack very soon.

Hope that you are doing ok ((hugs)).
Ditto Boob Nazi. :)
And you have done some amazing work on those projects!
You know a crisis or a rant or whatever is okay to blog about from time to time. If it gets something off your chest and helps you re-center yourself I say go for it. I do it myself on occasion.
I think the paint job looks great!

Yea! Finally on with the mudding and painting. That one's been hanging over your head for awhile now. The garden is sweet, btw.
We're here for you if you ever need a sounding board!
God bless!
Go to your happy place. Imagine a beautiful garden lush with plants and flowers. Don't look at the back yard.
After looking at what you've accomplished I'm running out to rent that movie - it's obviously very motivating! Your projects look incredible. The garden is so cute and I love the wall color.
Sounds like you've made a good decision to take a few things out of your backpack, we all can learn from that every now and then.
I've been terrible about blog reading lately, but I had to stop by and check in with you. You are amazing for getting all of this done. Mr. Misery is one lucky man-my husband hates painting! Your floors are beautiful, btw.
